Some may have to be crushed in order to the cycle to continue. Recycling parts from it will allow it to live on other trucks. I know my 75 gave up parts to my 91 and almost a dozen others that I sold parts off to. It hurt to have my 75 go to the shredder, but the parts I kept for my 91 make me feel better about it.

I still have the hood, cowl panel, tailgate and a little secret which I won't state in public.

Are you still keeping the tailgate?

Are you still keeping the tailgate?
Yes , I plan to keep it, at least so far. It's more of a souvenir than tailgate to me.

Are you looking for one? This one has some rust, which I haven't ever found in one of this vintage. Surprisingly, it isn't really bent!

I don't think so, mine has some bolt holes to weld up and a small dent on the top but might consider using a different one if I come across a nicer one.

Clean ones are getting fairly difficult to find for a decent price. The prices are getting way up there for a lot of parts.
