My alias is freddieslow...The A/C was less expensive than other stuff! Maybe when I get the 2nd kid's college paid for, I can start looking at links! But I still will be #slowerthanEddie..

I thought about buying one of these, anyone know how well it works?Who needs ac when you can run a couple of these guys.
Mini swamper
Fill with ice cold water for best effect.
If I had actual ac I sure as hell would run it. But I'm so used to it now it's not the main priority. Plus the camper shades the cab really well most of the day until the sun is lower.
No joke Larry bought one at a Walmart in bullhead just before our Mojave road trip. Used in inside the camper and it actually is pretty effective. Used a lot of water, but it's evaporative cooling so it's going to. My wife had one on her nightstand so she could have more cool air on her face as she sleeps. Worked fine for that.I thought about buying one of these, anyone know how well it works?
I can't wait to get a/c in my truck.
So you have to soak that head to get it the shrink and get in the house?Your best looking friend!

No. I go through the garage. Lots of room.So you have to soak that head to get it the shrink and get in the house?
Race car parts are habit forming. Good looking selection of gear.I got some flex pipes and heat shield from Vibrant Performance to work into the rehash.
Ouch. I thought they were a great brand. Maybe not so much.Well I have begun the revamp of the exhaust system. The Sanderson headers have given up. I had to weld the collectors up to eliminate the leaks, and then last year, the left one cracked where the tubes merge together. Couldn't get to all of the crack, we welded up what we could get to. So I had to turn the self learn off on the EFI since the O2 sensor is in the left side.
The Edelbrock heads have big enough exhaust ports that I needed to stick with 1 5/8" primaries, but finding a set that is shaped properly AND fit the chassis somewhat is a problem. I bought a set of Hedman mid length ones after researching some and hitting the "screw-it" point. Knowing that anything was going to require a complete redo of my exhaust, and possibly the fuel lines, I bought these in December. I finally dove into this last weekend, however it is going to be a slow process as I don't have a place available at home right now to have it torn apart for a few weeks. So working on it at my work, and moving things around..
Picture of the left Sanderson header. Not sure why this happened, maybe thermal expansion between the front and rear.
Scrap now..
And one of the new ones, which don't drop down far enough to interfere with the front driveshaft like full length 4 into 1 can do. View attachment 413186View attachment 413187
I won't ever buy a set for anything. But I won't ever buy a set of shortie headers ever again. Oh well.Ouch. I thought they were a great brand. Maybe not so much.
You are incorrect!!Everything hates you. Deal with it

Well something has to explain your hateful attitude. My experience at WM today was brilliant, unlike you!

With the LS stuff stock works just fine with zero issue's.I won't ever buy a set for anything. But I won't ever buy a set of shortie headers ever again. Oh well.
I've had better durability out of cheap headers, I knew the tricks to keep them sealed at the heads, and never had a set crack.
