Jolene - 1965 Chevy Impala Cruiser

that would suck big time. I always thought the Supernatural car was a caprice

I pulled one of the wheels to figure out what I need for lug nuts. The good news is I think these are American Racing AR 505 wheels that appear to have tapered lug nut seats rather than shank style. Damage from using the stock acorn nuts is minimal, mostly from the lug wrench or socket.

The front brakes are OK until I'm ready to upgrade but they would need attention if I didn't plan on a disc conversion soon.

I found a shank with tapers for Eileen's Corvette. Same style of wheel, just later manufacturing. I can look them up in her files tomorrow. Only found one manufacturer for the nuts.

Probably something like this?

I was gonna say those wheels still need the shank lug nuts. Idnk the were shanked tapered lug nuts available or needed

I forgot to look these up. That is the manufacturer. I ordered a set through Summit. Summit said they were not available. Emailed Gorilla. Said they they had 400 in stock and gave me contact for another supplier. I set an alarm for myself to look tonight.

I ordered these lug nuts and they were a perfect fit for these wheels. The shank is just barely short of flush at the back side of the wheel.
