Jolene - 1965 Chevy Impala Cruiser

The correct springs on the right look to be like a much stiffer spring than the springs on the left. Is there a noticeable difference in ride quality?

I didn't drive it with the taller springs to compare and I still need to schedule an alignment and get new tires before I can do much driving.

Tire rack has Cooper Cobra G/T or BFG Radial T/A for the rear.

But if I look at 205/60 and 215/60 only a matching BFG Radial T/A for the front. 205 is 24.7" dia x 8.4" wide vs 215 at 25.2" dia x 8.7" wide. So I should not have any fitment issues with the 215 front.

And for the same price as the 245 rear (26.6" dia x 9.8" wide), there is a 255 rear (27.1" dia x 10.2" wide) available in BFG Radial T/A.

255/60 rear, 235/60 front :waytogo:
Or just stay with the 245 rear, but do 225-235 front
My local Les Swab has the Cobra G/T in stock in those sizes and will do a test fit for free. So if they fit and look right, that will work. Then it goes for an alignment right after tires.

Ah the classic Cooper Cobra GT.

I had some Goodyear Eagle tires in 295/50R15 on a trans am I had way back. Maybe a 235/60R15 up front.

I removed the driver door inner panel. I found the reason the window doesn't roll up all the way, the run channel is worn out and allows the window to move out too far and catch the outer door to window seal. It took some searching, but I found what I need on Year One and grabbed a few other little things needed to get the total up enough for free shipping. That website does not make navigation easy.
