Giver of not a single damn...
Damn...I just realized that I didn't update this.
Well, I basically have it about 90% put together. I need new belts, a bottom radiator hose, oil/filter and antifreeze. I should have it up and running this weekend and back on the road Monday. Then I can focus on buying the last few parts needed to put the lift on in a month or so.
Last weekend, I went ahead and rebuilt my TBI unit. What a piece of cake that was! I was expecting a headache but it only took me 1 1/2 hours taking my time. The hardest part of putting everything all together was threading on the fuel lines to the back of the TBI. One side wouldn't thread, so I'd try the other line and it wouldn't thread.....what a pain.
The other P.I.T.A was ptting the core support back on. All in all, it was a lot of 2 steps forward, 1 step back all weekend with everything I touched.
I'll snap some pics in the AM of the progress I've made.

I think I'm going to take up drinking like a fish again.
I also have to run the old gas out of it too. It's been in there since May. Once I run it out of gas, I'll change the fuel filter, fuel it up and call it good.

This is about the only thing left to work out on the old girl this winter so I can take a break and work on some 1/48th scale model airplanes and relax.
It turns out, I stripped out my front slip yoke. It just never seems to end for me but I can't give up now because I'm too damn stubborn.
