the next modification was Tellico OHV.... I call it a modifiacation, not as much in regard to the k5 but more in how it infected..err affected me.

next came the 35s and some homemade bumpers

then I herculined it and put a snapon toolbox in the back ( the tool situation is getting revamped right now)

then came the rollbar and rock sliders

next I decided to build my own convertable top (still a work in progress)

I decided to build a rack for the convertible top (Dixie Run 05 Tellico)

next I made the windows of my hardtop removable ( note the straps holding them in)

I look forward to having something else as a daily driver, I will probably buy a 2500hd in the spring as a tow vehicle. Then I can afford for the truck to be down long enough to really get some stuff done. eg axles, cage, narrowing and boatsiding. I still plan on keeping the truck fairly operable, the ac still blows ICE COLD and its mostly watertight for now

this is April of this year....not bad though for $750.00

Unfortunately we never got any before pics but this is pretty much what it looked like:

It was an 84 CUCV we picked up on a sealed bid for $1100. Actually had 36000 miles, very hard miles.

We stripped it down to bare metal and painted it 71 Plymouth Lemon Twist Yellow.

This is what it looked like before CK5

33's, 2.5" lift and that's about it.

Here's a shot from our drive to Blazer Bash this year.

Now I've got 37's, still running 1/2ton axles, and rear Detroit. I've also done a lot of sheet metal trimming and denting, too.:D

My avatar is also a Blazer Bash pic, courtesy of Pauly!

I'll keep it to simple 'before and after' pics for the moment. I will have a bunch of updates to photo and post, that will be soon.

I wish i had befre pics of mine still but basicly i got it from Ryan (topdown) for $400, was totaly stock had a blown up 400sb and was 1/2 ton. I did a 4" lift swaped in 3/4 ton, swaped in 500, and put some new(used) rubber on it. i think ive got about $1800 into it at this point(including purchasing the truck)ive still got to get a 205, and deal with dive lines and get new tires. so heres my after pic...

Well, not exactly a progression of the same K5, but this is where I started off. Stock 77 with lots of body filler and 33's on stock wheels (who needs a 4" lift:wink1: ), taken in 1987 on Assateague Island, Virginia:

And this is where I am today:

I like the S10...

That's what I was thinking of doing with my rig but I don't want to use an automatic. I'd hate to lose the SM465!

The day it came home, paid 800 for it with a built 350horse three fiddy with 6k miles on it and a ton of rust back in 2007-

The blazer, actually kind of stuck to a budget for it. Bought it in 2009.

how it sits now, only thing I havent touched is trans/t case. Pretty much everything else has been swapped out/modded in some way.
