Excellent ressurection now to find my pics.......
When the eBay seller had it, it was dusty & full of pine needles. Didn't know it was ok to offer eBay sellers cash for local sales.
Idiot speculators snagged it, polished it up, but went nuts with the chrome silver paint. They used borrowed money to buy it, I found out how much they paid for it, and I bought it for what turned out to be just a modest profit for them, not the outrageous $3grand premium they thought they could get away with...
Spare on the right end, properly painted & outfitted rally wheels, plus much repair to the interior cabinets
But the lousy economy forced me to sell it. Last day of ownership, it's in good hands, a multi-Chalet owner in Indiana.

Not a k5 but same idea

right now plans are to throw on some 33" mall terrains and repaint. hopefully it will stay clean for more than a year this time around

I like your truck. I always thought the '79s were the best year for looks. I see you had the optional rear roll bar. Cool. Get an OEM '79 grille back in there and get that thing back on the road. Very nice.

As I got it back in the 80s..1/2 Tons,39" sand tires and no dents

No doors and the dents started

The '74 How I got it 3 years ago as a parts truck. (tree tried to crush it)
After I jack up the bed sides with a floor jack, repaint, 6" lift and 37's
How it looked with, tons, 39.5", 52" fronts. 63" rears
