Let's see your twin and triple stick shifters

Basic ORD twin stick without modified shift rail for front wheel drive. A twin stick was the easiest way to make the 205 shifter work behind a NV4500

Twin sticking a 205 allows you to control the front output and the rear output independently of each other.

I love seeing pictures of Ryoken's stuff..... :D

thanks.. just gotta get off my broken arse and finish it... :doah: the plan is to dedicate 25 to 30 hrs a week to it in feb...

hopefully I'll actually be doing some wiring by march...

I use low or low-low. In rear only alot when wheeling. Combine that with a rear spool for sliding the rear of the truck one way or the other on tight trails.

The front only I use for u-turns. We have tight trails, so there are a couple of spots where I have to turn around on the trail, then back between 2 Trees, then turn around again to continue. Otherwise my truck would look like a pretzel.

Setting up my nwf triple cable shifters now. Most guys put 203 knob on left, but I would think you'd be using the 205 knobs more. You guys have any input for most convenient shifter arrangment?

My own.

Did the boots out of some old shock boots. Seem to work pretty good.

Shifters in my opinion, sit like the components do in the truck kinda.

Pardon my ignorance, but I am in the middle of a truck build and I'm building the shifter and linkage for my divorced 205. My truck will mostly be a driver, no serious offroad. Just backroads and snow. I don't have a doubler, just the 205. Is there a reason for me to do a twin stick? At this point I could do it pretty easy, I'm just not sure why I would need it. Thanks.

Those of us who aren't cables really have no choice the t-cases decide for us

Apparently not true. My current home made setup has the rear axle on the left (driver's side), the front axle in the middle, and the NP203 range box on the right (passenger side). The ORD kit I am going to install tomorrow if everything works out is different they say.
