linked one ton escalade (coming back soon)

The fiancé and I moved into our apartment this weekend, just going to rent a place until we decide where we want to live permanently. It’s on the third floor... we have a lot more shit than I thought.. the place is really nice though and she loves it. On Monday I had to leave at 3:30am to drive 6 hours to work

Well shit, I thought the price for the bumpstops was a little high. It was for a pair. So now I have 8 bump stops and 2 wheel spacers. :haha:

Also gave up on waiting for my driveshaft parts and took some spare stuff to get a temporary driveshaft made. My stuff showed up today for the 1410 driveshaft.

So I thought the front was too stiff, but if I back the Escalade on the kodiak, the front maxes out before the rear starts, so maybe it doesn’t matter haha. Also, this seems way to close to me? I thought it was about in the normal mounting spot but maybe I was too close to the knuckle? There’s probably 1/4 inch of clearance, but it’s also still got 2 more inches of compression in that side.

Yeah, your rear is too stiff.

As for the closeness, I wouldn't worry about it. That's a pivot point, it'll never get closer even as you turn the wheel.

The rear looks to stiff, but when I drove it up the other way the rear flexed all the way out before the front started. So I thought the front was too stiff.

Also I might still move the axle side coilover mount in. Dylan said his cleared about the same and he bent it the first time out and looking at the artec ones they are a little farther over. They were $16... why didn’t I order them...

Oh... yeah that would’ve been easier. But I can promise it’s too late for that.

Bump stops are mounted and so are limit straps. Coilovers are moved in. I’m pretty sure the coilover will now hit the passenger frame where it bends out To go around the air conditioner compressor. Shouldn’t be too big of a deal to fix tomorrow. Going to leave for work at 5:45am to hopefully get off early enough to finish it up and then leave for Oklahoma tomorrow night. 8 hour drive. Should be a long day.
