Got the knuckles all done. If i would’ve realized how cheap solid knuckles were before I bought my steering arms i would’ve probably gone with them. But these should be fine in a mall crawler.
Got a good start on the exocage. Did all the lower stuff for now. Gonna get it all running first with the stock engine and trans then later to the rest of the exocage, 4l80, and turbo.
The front bumper obviously will be trimmed back.
Then bought this 2017 Jeep for $800. Artec supersuty swap trusses should be here this week. Then getting an LS drivetrain and probably 4 seats and that’s it. Lol. Clear coat maybe?

Holy crap! I thought I was the only one who put holes through pistons. Those are some nice vented windows on all 4 too! Other side have similar damage or is it just that one side?

It’s the only place underneath without reinforcement. I call them wiseco windowers. Prototype shit.
Got the fuse block mounted in about the stock location and trimmed the bottom of the mount to clear where I will put fender wells. Also made a mount for the computer. Looks pretty clean i think.
And finally started on the rear wheel tubs which I have been putting off for months... not going to sleep until they’re done though. Hopefully before the sun comes up.
The interior will be trimmed much better on the final fit. And after the tubs have carpet and the carpet is in i think it should look pretty close to factory-ish-sorta

Those pistons look like smilies that are making squinty faces because someone just punched them in the spleen.
Probably stick out around 4 inches on the bottom. So just barely past the widest part of the door.
Got the rear gears setup today. Probably going to try and just build a fuel tank. Just weld some 1/8” metal into a box and call it good?
