Unfortunately no. I REALLY want to but it looks like I'll be moving (and paying) my oldest daughter to Ct around Oct / Nov. [sad dad face]

Keep BB rolling strong, the wife is frustrated and talking more about retirement which would make a trip possible (assuming fuel isn't $8 gal by then #letsgobrandon).

Edit: we could facetime the whole weekend while you drive. Unlimited data for the WIN! :rotfl:

retirement for the wife, you or both?

Just my wife, she's a teacher with the county school system. No pension for me, I'll work until I've saved enough to retire (never). :doah:

Is Area BFE still accepting donations and allowing people to camp?

Last time I went to Moab, I saw people camping free in the valley of Steel Bender trail.

Also people camped free at one of the junctions on the Behind the rocks trail.

Roughing it for a week would not be so bad if willing to drive into town for a shower and supplies?

They are doing work on the BFE facilities and I'm not sure when it's supposed to be done and open.

Check the countdown thread for an available cabin!

Not sure where to post this but here should do. I had some friends cancel on me for this trip. So I have a camping cabin (the smaller one with no bathroom) at Moab rim rv park available if anyone is interested. Wanted to give someone here a chance to snag it up before I cancel the reservation.
This.
