I wish mine was that color. It's so light I can't even see it on the dipstick.

.
I didn't know if that 6.5 had a idle that wasn't the tensioner.I just replaced the only idler. All the others drive something. Only the water pump and tensioner/idler are smooth ones.. all the others are grooved And should center themselves.
. All I can think of is try to measure all the other pulleys and see if one of the others is slightly off causing this... Or let it do its thing and keep a belt around incase.
damnit. So are you the new whistlendiesel then? And contrary to everything I read... I noticed absolutely no difference in the way it runs, idles, or the noises it makes. Lol.
The one noise difference I did notice comes from the exhaust leak I minimized.
When I'm excelerating sort of hard I now notice the frickin turbo whistle..damnit.
Bearing in the water pump?It was doing it before too. I noticed the new belt had a side rubbed off, so I was going to put the old one back on thinking I had just installed it wrong... And the old one was doing it too. Which was pre balancer install.
So are you the new whistlendiesel then?

I'm wondering... I did try to wiggle it and such, but I felt nothingBearing in the water pump?
. That's doesn't rule it out though. I plan on doing the cooling mod that adds the later model pump and dual thermostat housing. So I'll wait till then and see if it still does it. If so I'll have to dig farther... I'm going to change that pulley and the crank pulley at that time also.Typically if the bearing is failing coolant will start dripping out of the weep hole. Check it. My guess it's fine. I've only had two water pump failures on my personal shit in my life. They went right NOW. But I thought I would toss it out there.I'm wondering... Yeah it's not weeping yet.
