LSX454 swapped 95 BASS burb.

Little lower, little cooler, bigger sounds.
Generally 87 still. Think the calculator came up with 9.8 for CR with the gasket I have and such.

I have mine set to about 36 degrees on wot, I would add a few degrees into wot and see what it does. If it isn’t pinging at cruise with 36 why not add that at wot?

But I’m no tuner I just watch YouTube and like to party…

..... Burnout!:woot::woot:

Wait.... No. That's actually what happens when I try and power brake.
The rear tires grab hard and shove the whole thing forward real quick pushing the front tires :doah: .
From a dead stop she grabs hard and goes like hell. Still won't spin a tire to save it's life.
If I had tires for my fronts I'd swap them around quick and try and boil the fronts of lol. They need replaced anyway and obviously don't grab as well.
But I'm not buying tires for these wheels when I'll be getting the new wheels in a couple months.

Do you have a factory ecm? And if you do is the torque management still active?

It's a holley terminator x. And I believe torque management only involves shifts. It stunts the motor for a blip while it shifts.
I think. :dunno:
These tires do actually grip like a bastid. So that's not helping at all lol.
And I'm pretty convinced the G80 is stuck in lock which is just compounding things.
It chirps tires driving in slow tight corners.
I'm pretty confident that if I swapped em fronts to back it'd be a whole different story.
That's gotta wait till I get the other wheels and tires though.
Then I'll do just that and boil em if it will for a good video lol.

Pay no attention to the crap sliding around the back at the beginning, but...
a 7 second flat 0-60 for a fat azz 2500 burb on 3.73s isn't horrible.

Be a lot quicker with gears and shorter tires lol.

Torque management will prevent you from doing a power brake burnout. When I first got my Silverado it would not do a burnout until I dialed back the torque management.

The truck acts the same power brake or not.
Wet pavement, no brake, mash gas, goes like hell. Won't spin for even half second.
Power brake, mash gas, shoves truck forward immediately, sliding front tires across drive pavement like they were on ice. Won't break the rear tires free though.
Can't see where that would be TM thing :dunno:
With a stock ecm you have things like 'traction control' and 'brake torque management', that will definitely affect a power brake or normal burn out.
But with the terminator x I don't think either of those are present.
I can ask on the Holley forum and see I guess.

I have not upped my idle timing number, but I did sort of blend the graph so I'm getting more timing off idle than I was.
That did help launch type situations, but didn't affect the burnout front. Which shouldn't matter since you can't idle and burnout lol.

The terminator x max does have torque management. For shifting. I've watched a couple vids on adjusting it.

By the specs I read online it should weigh between 5100-5300 without fuel or me. Haven't weighed it myself though.
I should do that..

I don't think they call it TM though. It's just the same thing. You can retard fuel and timing for some milliseconds or something during shifts.

You can here it during my first shift in the vid. I didn't let up, but the engine kind of flattens for a second then keeps rising.

Hmmm I’ll have to look into that, do you have any links or videos?

Definitely turning that crap off :haha:

Here's one, but dude takes WAY too long to get to the point.

Good description though once he gets to it.

I bought new door pins/bushings for this a couple weeks ago. Dormans from orilleys.
The bushings all shattered in 2 days. Fuggin driver's door is worse now than before I started.

I ran into that same thing on a door on a truck at my work. Pissed me off so I drilled them all out to 1/2" and put long bolts in with no bushings.
