LSX454 swapped 95 BASS burb.

Little lower, little cooler, bigger sounds.
Just got a notice, some of my stuff isn't even going to ship until July
:doah::notworthy:

Possibly. I gotta look and see if it's too late to cancel that part and switch to something else, or if plan B isn't going to ship any sooner, just roll with it :dunno:

I guess since it's going to be longer than I thought. Here's a teaser of the new cabinet stickers

Got the kimber to shoot that hog too.

Now rock auto got me for $500.
:doah:.
If I didn't have to put a furnace in my house, I'd be hitting up a few other places for actual go fast goodies.
But the house has been waiting on a furnace for about 35 years. It's time that it gets some love lol.

Meh. It was 85 degrees yesterday. You're not going to need that furnace until November...

:pimp:

I may want to sell my house before then though lol. Hard to sell it without one.
I just hope the 13k I have saved is enough nowadays.

Being a mechanically-minded electrician with ample wrenching experience, I'd bet you could do it yourself for much less than that. Then you'd have more money for speed parts!

Actually, I did a bunch of research today on duct sizing and such. I think I'm going to do all my ducting, and just hire the place to actually install the furnace.
As long as I'm close it should be fine.
In our town I'm not allowed to install the actual furnace.

THEN more money for go fast parts lol

City has on record that my house has no furnace or ducting. If it shows up in a presale house inspection that it does I can get in some chit.

That is a problem.
Now I don't know the law in Iowa but in California if you do the work on your own house, you don't need a license, you still need to meet code but the city doesn't require you to be licensed

That's what we had before. Then they changed some chit. I'm not even sure I'm allowed to do the ducting. But if it's all sized correctly, I don't see what it could have to do with code there.
The actual furnace install im just not allowed to do. And that's fine with me lol. I'm going to do the ducting, nad let it sit a few months before we get the actual furnace done... Just so they're all dusty and don't look just done quite as much. Furnace dude probably won't care, but it's plausible deniability for him.
(Looked old to me) lol

Do the duct work, and have the heating guy double check your work, see if he's willing to sign off on it. Still end up cheaper.

Well most of my parts actually came, and the rest are only a couples days out now. So, soon:woot:.

What I bought was,
3" drop spindles.
1"-2" lowering coils.
New factory rear springs, but the lower weight rating version with 1 less leaf. (Which I'm removing the overload from.)
1-2" lowering shackles
Every bushing in the suspension.
Every joint in the steering.
Idler arm bracket.
20" wheels.
275/45 rear Yokohamas
255/45 front Yokohamas.

No real pics yet. Rear springs are out.

Better burnouts?
These might help with burnouts.... Or hinder:thinking:. The outside diameter difference is about exactly the same as if I'd kept the old tires and went to a 4.10 rear end. But they're wider.
