So....
I talked to my transmission dude.
And without so many words he basically said
"You broke it, have fun."
What I did learn.
The hopping stutter WAS slip. He said with the package that's it it, the springs in the clutch pack grab hard on there own, and when it's trying to slip it'll grab slip, grab slip, a bunch, making that stutter/shudder.
I Told him it started doing it, but I thought it was wheel hop so drove it that way a bit, and he said yep, that damaged it enough that it was inevitably going to go bad and was too late to save it by that point.
And he says the crunchy sounds was most likely the ONE WAY that I'll find no far under the pump.
So what that tells me is a full clean out/up.
New clutches and steels.
New one way.
And inspect/replace anything that looks like it was damaged by one way pieces.
