The first picture is the section of stream I was driving in right before I sunk. The next pictures are where the water was when I got back the next day.

Just wanna say you are my freekin hero for this adventure. I definitely envy you a lot for it, and I wish I could just take a month and leave like this.

For being the guy that texted me like the day before you were coming to our party, and I had no idea... you made it a blast, and you are welcome back any time you want dude, ill buy the vernors and Canada house :thumb::haha:

Adam pulled me into this thread, major props for driving this truck around and beating on it.:thumb:

I like how you kept the brush guard on the new bumper.

I like how in that one pic of you coming out of the creek you have weeds stuck in the brush guard. It's like you're trying to enhance the camoflauge of your Blazer. Like you're on a covert mission or something.

Thanks Guys!

I had an awesome time! A lot of the fun I had was possible because of CK5. All of the ck5 people I met this summer were excellent. My friends from home joke about my internet friends on CK5, but you all really exist! I think when I left for Deuling's party my friends all thought I was going to get tied up like the gimp (now that I have met Adam I know this was entirely possible).

I really hope Deuling can get everyone together for a dunes trip next year. I saw a lot of awesome things on my drive, but this was by far the most fun.

I wouldn't say I beat on my truck.(except for trying to throw a rod through the side getting up those damn dunes) Despite bringing that little engine within inches of its life it still saved my ass and got me home again. I use the truck for what it is meant for. These trucks were built for exactly this. A lot of people said I was nuts for leaving my roof at home and driving on the highway with swampers for some 5000+ miles, but that's what it's all about.

For those who have never been to Moab. Go as soon as you can. Every minute of the drive would have been worth it if this was my only destination. Even though I only did two trails with my truck in the 3 days I was there, the scenery and terrain is like nothing else. I will be figuring out how to get to Blazer Bash in the future.

I had a ton of help making this trip a success. A couple of the venders here that helped me out during my trip were sidetracked and ord. Sidetracked came through shipping me a light bar out to Colorado Springs. It's dark out there. On my way home from Moab I pit stopped at ORD after discovering at a gas station that my rear diff was leaking oil all over the place. ORD helped me change it out and got me back on my way.

I'm going to look at the axle wednesday night. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should be looking for?

Generally they are about 5' long, with some tube on either side of a bigger piece in the center. Normally some do dads in that center section and additional items on the outsides of the tube.

How many teeth am I looking for?

It was a vague question because I have no clue what to look for.

Well the ring gear teeth divided by pinion teeth give your gear ratio.

Normally the ring gear will have it stamped in it.
