If you can't get Pat's trailer for the next time we hit the Mounds, I have one you could use. Super-mega-heavy car hauler.

Unless it warms up before Feb 3rd, my truck is likely to still be covered in mud for the Rib Meet. It's all frozen on!

So is it best to come in 14 from AA or I-94?
 
Myself I would say 94 then it is just a little way north. Not sure of traffic on 14 maybe one of the locals can best answer that

M-14 to I-96 will take you about 3 mi North of Warren, I-94 will take you about 5 mi south of Warren.

Since the construction is complete on M-14, it's a much nicer road and less congested. I would just Mapquest it from your house and see which would be shorter or faster. Off the top of my head, I'd say M-14.

I agree with M-14, especially on a saturday.

Damn, and I'm in college and 6 hours away too...

...maybe if you guys want to get together towards the summer time I can work something out. Got a buddy down that way and family and been meaning to go visit some of them. No love for us northerners.:rolleyes:

Uhm...Senate's Coney Island wasn't far...damn, I need to go visit Dearborn again...


Completely unrelated to this post but anybody wheel up north in the spring/fall/summer? Grayling, Drummand Is, the UP, where ever. My old Ranger/Bronco II/Explorer buddies are planning a get together and I wouldn't mind taking Big Ugly but not sure if it'll fit down some of the trails...my Ranger barely did. Not that big of a mud fan but I haven't been out in too long...okay, I'm rambling now...sorry...:crazy:

Yeah, last I remember...the early 90's...it had a 50's theme and had been around since then. Dad worked there as a teenager in the early 60's.
I can't remember the street names but ought to ask dad or my uncle.

I want to say I'm actually a Westsider...I'm from a little south of Grand Rapids actually...moved north so I could go to school, not sell my house, get more snow, get paid less, and not be able to find a better job...oh yeah, and get tourists all over the place...:doah:

Heh, I just finished this week's homework...kinda...mostly...my life grinds to a hault when school is on...mmmm...barbeque...

Has this place been around for a while? I have fond memories of being a kid and going to a steak house with G&G and eating some HUGE cheeseburger that no one thought I possibly could have...that woulda been the late 80's at the latest...

That share ride sounds good, I'll be available all day, but need to be home about7-8pm. I'll drive but only have a 2 seater, S-10. Let me know if that'll work for ya.

Yea AJ I wish you could too. I am so hyped about this I told the kid he COULDN'T go it was for the BIG boys besides he would be bored. Boggerless and I are bringing cameras and I am sure others will too.

But sure would be nice to have ya come bro!
