Nm, found the relay. Disconnected it, remembering there is a bypass through the oil pressure sending unit, but figured with NO relay in the circuit i was safe.
Good news is I have oil pressure. Bad news is i had another gas spray episode.
Thanks for the tip on the fuel line. I'm going to snag a whole one, and if i can't get it in, i'll use a tube compression union to turn it into a repair fitting. The high side of this system is only 15psi, the return side will NOT be high pressure.
That being said, its only hard line about 2" below the clip on the back of the block. And there is a connection at the frame next to the trans. So, as long as i find an 88-95 tbi truck, i should be golden. We'll see.
This issue needed to be fixed for quite a while, so oh well.
Thanks for the help on here guys, my posts have been brief. I passed the 30 hr mark some time today. I'm exhausted. Had help actually yanking the old, and stabbing the new in. Besides that, i've been on my own.
Going to take some hrs off work tomorrow, get to some yards, and put this thing back together. The end is in sight.
Fuel line, find TDC, install distributor/wires, fire it up, break in the cam. Clean up my disaster of a garage.
Hopefully i get lucky at the picknpull yards.
