My good bye 1 tons REbuild

do you have a build thread on that or at least some stats

I havn't started yet, I plan on a frame off resto w/singles and 47" michlens and some BLING along the way.

Its a 68 M35A2C, White inline 6 multifuel turbo, 5 speed no od, and a big O spicer t case w/air shift front end. The truck runs and drives PERFECT, but needs ALOT of work to get it legal.

Its gunna be a LONG rebuild.

nice pics and write up. way outa my realm but looks awesome. I think rockwells and 33" M/Ts would be a bit over kill. lol. :haha:

that reads like a wish list list.

Sweet lookin' tow rig :) The red cc dually with the black rims looks perfect...

Yea we will be up there for the Halloween run, should get there Fri. Yea I saw pics of your truck, looks good bro., my only suggestion would be to get it as low as possible. My truck went from 9" of lift to 6" and it was a WORLD of difference, low Center of gravity is the way to go.

Yeah I was wanting it a few inches lower but I need it high anyways to clear my 49's. Plus as long as it is I will need a lot of belly clearance to get over big stuff. When I get done my wheelbase should be around 135"s. It will be tall but it is gonna have a really flexxy suspension under it. I pulled the bottom leaf out of the front springs pack and that dropped it about a inch plus the springs are gonna settle some once I get all the weight back on it. So far being on 49's it really wont be that big but over all it is a big truck.

Also I wont have my truck ready before halloween. I am gonna try to have it ready for a shiloh run on new years weekend. I am gonna try to talk some other buddies of mine into going halloween though. So I may see you down there.

Hows the truck running?

Pretty good, been having some issues with my brake calipers coming loose and ripping off. Just got it all put back together (for the 2nd time), and hopfully I solved the problem.

Bent the rear tierod pretty good, so I built a new one. Now I'm bending the 3/4" grade 8 bolts that hold it on.

I also narrowed the front around 20 inches, and have a couple loose ends to tie up. Overall I think it turned out bad a**. I'll get some pics up tommorow.

So how's that truck of yours coming along? Looks pimpin
