The brackets don't totally enclose the cab corners as the factory sheet metal opens up into the B pillar and down to the cab corners. The instructions recommend adding sound deadening and insulation behind them for better sound projection. I also need some rubber trim around the edges to fully seal it and to prevent the metal edges from rubbing.Do the brackets form a whole enclosure for the speaker or does it end up "free air"?

The sand is never all gone.
I feel like at some point you roll down your window on the highway and then get sandblasted. DerpNothing wrong with that sand. I make sure to never vacuum it out of mine. I'm close to being able to have one of those little zen gardens and a bonsai tree and tiny rake in there.
