youre and idiot mind your own friggen buisiness i dont wanna hear your bs about giving wheelin a bad name your idea of wheelin is probobly going through a puddle at 20 miles an hour

I see the California education system is making quite an impact on you. Nice spelling and punctuation. On second thought, stick to wrenching, you'll be working at a Jiffy Lube in ten years and the experience will pay off. As for my wheeling experience, I've probably got more time with three wheels on the ground that you have in a girls pants so stick with the other kids and keep making messes in the yard with daddy's money.

thanks for the support! and the offer ill let you know if im in need

Nice progress Blazerboss. I dig it. Don't mind Josh, he's so uptight he won't even bang his ex-stepsister.:haha: Anyway. keep up the good work, good luck with the neighbor, and I can't wait to see how the rig turns out.:waytogo: BTW, I run 36s with 4.56 and a th350/np205 combo, and it's a pretty doable RPM on the highway. That said, I wouldn't rush to swap gears unless it's an issue on the trails.

Ok ok, I'll take the hit. Not very christian of me. That is a F**king mess though. I'll be impressed if you make something of it. Good luck and...no more ditching English okay.

I really don't mean this as a burn but which pile of parts is the project? That's ambition. You got a 60 up front or just a 44 with 8 lug? The 40" tires on 4.10 is a little iffie. If it were me, I might get some used 35s and run those until I could afford the gears for 40s.

later

isnt that the truth so do you still find time to wheel?
Not as much as I would like because of school but oh well. I am thinking about trying to set up a run over winter break, maybe with some of the local ck5 guys, probably at Holister. It all depends on if I can get my truck pieced back together

ya i run a 700r4/205 in my blazer with 35's and 4.11's and i think it is perfect on the trail its made it up everything ive ever thrown at it but on the trzer im worried that im going to be in granny with my 40's and 4.11s and its going to twist my driveshaft i mean ive built my driveshaft for my blazer when i still had the 12 bolt and i went 65 with little to no vibration but i swapped the 14 bolt and just decided to have a 1 ton cv shaft made and it great but back to the gears the lowest diff gears im going to do is 4.56 because i am planning on driving this thing to the trail and back without spending way too much on gas

im guessing from this comment by josh that he is the type of guy that is not convinced anybody under the age of 30 is even capable enough to pour their own bowl of cereal thats just a guess though you think im trying to turn a bunch a garbage into something mabey you should take a look at mrdrinksalil's build thread of black betty he started off with i believe 3 vehicles and a bunch of fricking parts and now look at his rig its absolutely amazing (drinks up to him) im just trying to say dont underestimate people just because they arent "old" if you knew all the stuff ive done to my blazer youd be amazed i suppose ill do a build thread on it sometime soon..

yeah its up in Davis. I have a fair amount of stuff to fix on it before its ready to wheel again. I blew the welds on the spiders in my 14 bolt and I need to swap out my 1310 yokes to 1350's and make a new front drive shaft so I don't blow the thing up so often. Its all easy stuff I just dont have the truck to work on. I will be coming up to work on it sometime in the next couple weeks so if all goes well I am down to run slickrock

Will do. Neither of those guys sound familiar, might know them if I saw them though. What year did they graduate?

keep it going man, as for arguing on the internet with people/members..some things are better left ignored...kind of a win the fight..loose the war deal.

My spelling is a victim of public education too:D

Personally Cuervo, from what you sound like, you're "that guy" in the neighborhood that nobody likes (but then again you might work for code enforcement so it makes sense).

First I'm not jumping on the guy. I was trying to relay what some people might think and I hope it might help him with his neighbors.

So you know, I'm the guy that keeps his grass cut and my stuff in the backyard. I'm also not the code enforcement bitch, but I do pick up trash in the neighborhood that others toss out of their cars. I've also been in the Army for 22 years so I might have just have a little more discipline then others. I don't lie, cheat or steal so I'm sure I'm not "that guy".

...take a look at mrdrinksalil's build thread of black betty he started off with i believe 3 vehicles and a bunch of fricking parts and now look at his rig its absolutely amazing ..

What are you talkin about, my rig is still a pile of junk. hahaha.

Don't let that a**hat get you discouraged. He'll find his way off of here quick if he wants to talk to people that way. It took me a LONG time to "finish" my rig and a lot of trips to the junkyard. I've got stupid amounts of money into it for what its worth, but that doesn't bother me one bit. Building a rig is ALWAYS more expensive but the reward is priceless. And the road getting there is half the fun.

As for those gears. If your gonna buy some id go 5.13's. You arn't gonna be going over 55mph on the road when you get that suspension the way you want it and on the trail your gonna be beggin for lower gearing.
