its the dvi 2. dvi stands for dual voltage input i can use it with a 110 plug and 220

Don't get discouraged by what others think. Build it how you want it. I almost (read started) built a trazer myself but could not resist having a blazer so i ended up scrapping mine.

yes i scrapped the truck in the pics, tried for months to sell the pre smog cab and got no takers.

i did some stuff to the x member today im tacking everything then im going to take the member off and weld everything all up ive still got quite a ways to go before i take it off but i think this will show you the general direction im going in

with the crossmember that low, your gonna have a good about of lift, but I think its gonna mess up the caster on the front axle unless you're planning on cutting and rotating the knuckles.
Also if your not going to box in the sides of that little brace in the front its not going to be strong enough.

I lived in Davis for several years back when I was in school. It is probably a whole different town by now. I would imagine they are pretty strict about code enforcement. I'm glad they aren't hassling you too much. Subscribed.

ya i know about the steering so to get it back to the right pinion angle im going to do longer shackles as well like i have on my blazer. also with the front mounts i was planning on boxing everything in im not really done with the design yet im just posting progressive pictures. and i dont know if i mentioned this in the pics but i kinda left out the fact that im doing the x member so i can fit 52's

Can't think of anyone that would have one off the top of my head. I was out at metro in woodland last weekend and they didn't have much of anything, doubt the other yard off 102 has much either and if they did the guy would charge an arm and a leg. You might get lucky out in rancho cordova

ya metro is getting rid of all their full size trucks because metal scrap prices went way down but m&m that place off 102 has alot of fullsize chevys right now that where ive been going lately and its pretty easy to talk that guy down he wanted 100 for an alternator a starter and distributor and i got him down to 40 so its worth a shot
I haven't been to m&m in a while, the guys kinda a dick. I might have to check it out though, its a hell of a lot closer then rancho. Any fullsize fords? I need a 32 spline 205 front output

um im not quite sure if they still have it but the last time i was there they did when i got my 32 spline front for my 205 i just went to backwoodsparts.com the guy it pretty cool and i got it for 75 not too bad IMO but i have 3 29 or 27(forgot which spline count it truly is) spline front outputs with the cv flange yoke if you are just upgrading from 10 spline
