Wow, nice move.
You might regret that move after hanging out here a while. We like to encourage bad decisions. So one tons, big block and a 4l80 are all good ideas.
Look at ORD for some links and coilovers too.
Got a couple of 14 bolts if interested 1 is 96 model with 410 other is mid 80s 456
Why one ton axles for a daily driver?

The 454 makes sense. The one ton axles open an entire different can of worms.

I haven’t heard of or seen a K5 sold at a regular car lot in a long time. That’s pretty sweet!!
welcome!
I like the part where you got rid of the 40 thousand dollar jeep. when did jeeps come with WTF price tags???
this is not a daily driver
time for a build thread already?
I'm partial to the 400 but a big block works too...Why not? I like to overbuild stuff. I don't need to put our aluminum head 383ci stroker in the Blazer either. It will be more fun though. My wife looks are me like I have 3 heads a lot of the time... Here I was thinking the aluminum head 454 BBC was a little too much.
