NP208 strength? (Now 241 ugrade and rebuild)

I'm thinking of looking for the 89 ramcharger case that was mentioned earlier. A passenger drop non slip yoke, and my broken case wouldn't matter right? Or would I still need that half?

If you find a dodge case you only need the input from the Chevy case.

Sweet. I'm guessing it's probably as much of a unicorn as this case though lol. I'm going to start looking tonight though.

Found a couple actually.... Looks like I'm just going to wait for a chance to snag a dodge case and go that route.

They are only from the ram chargers correct? Or what other models can I look under in the junk yard

Looking at Wikipedia it looks like all 1/2 and 3/4 ton dodges 88-93 had them. There were a few 208s but it sounds like few after 88

Easy to swap a CV flange on? If not I'll probably go the JB conversion route. Rear output that is.

Yeah I used flange yokes on both ends , I got them from Jess at High Angle I think , that was in 2002-2003 time frame

I was still on 33" rubber and still running the 12-bolt rear in this picture.

Currently the truck is a 377 destroker with Vortec heads LT4 hot cam , Jet Stage 2 q-jet , MSD billet dist and 6AL , NV4500, Dodge NP241 , 4.56 gears with Lockrite front and Detroit rear . Dana 44 and SF14 bolt on 37" MTRs on Western wheels with Staun Beadlocks . 4" ORD suspension package and a 2" bodylift .

JB has different output yokes to can buy separately too. So you could use the dodge case and probably just get the yoke you need from them.

I went to car-parts.com and found 3 within 100 mi of me for $150 or less:waytogo:
