Ok here we go again..... Oh yea we bad

The white one has rust issues that I do not want to deal with (read $$$$$) Some one put carpet pieces under the mat in the front and they were wet and frozen so I have a feeling that there will be things there to deal with as well.

The white one has an add on tank and the setup is not working. The plumbing I am speaking of is the steel lines and switching. I have to replace the inner fenders and core support so might as well go the whole nine yards.

One switch is a manual fuel pump and the other is supposed to be a left to aux tank. The tanks switching does not work and with the pump off no fuel gets to the motor; even thought it has a mechanical pump on motor. So with the cab off do the trany swap 4speed to th 400 just need the adapter to the 205.

Some serious tanks there, nice!

Well so I keep doing little things working on fixing the PO's de-emission job. Redid most of the hack and not connected lines. Worked a little on yellow to get ready for the swap. But slow with the snow we keep getting.

So I got these numbers off the rear axle housing. The stamped numbers are on the passenger side facing front the others are on the driver side of pumpkin.
OK found the number in the front of the service repair manual the numbers on the axle means from the factory it had 4:11 gears.

Here is the diagram for the vacuum lines on the 1986 454 motor

So still no clue to the stamped numbers on the axle but today I secured the box for it. Gave the guy $300 today and the other $100 end of July to get it. Here it is no tag on it but it says SERVIS' on the left rear over the lights. Needs a rear bumper no clue what it was on guy bought it for their company at auction. He just wanted their money back so total $400. If I can ever get over to wades and buy the front part off of him we have all the parts now. So if something happens to me one of you get to finish it.

cut off wheel right in the center of the weld and the legth of it will make them separate fairly easy buddy .

I have used this method a lot of times.

Ok crippled up today from being on ground and folded up under the bed. I think I had half of Utah's sand in my face and hair. (makes note to look for full face shield at harbor freight) Got the ends cut only to find they had laid a bead on the inside top of frame. :(

So I need to get my hands on a saws all to chop that. So maybe another day.....
Then I can start cleaning the frame of the white truck and getting ready to do some real work.
I want to put the factory dual tanks on whitey because yellow has two new tanks. Not sure what I am going to do with the aux tank from whitey. I am thinking mount it in the bed of the box as a back up/transfer tank.

How many tanks would a wood chuck need if a wood chuck could chuck tanks? :dunno:
