Old Iron 2.0

I've got a buddy at work that has done a lot of LS work, I believe his family owns a speed shop in Oklahoma.

He's cut down a lot of harnesses to I believe a 3 or 4 wire hookup for the LS engines so I'm gonna buy some beer and he's gonna come over and help me re-pin and cut down the wiring.

One step closer.

Still trying to figure out what I'm gonnando for a Hydraulic clutch for the 4 speed.

And that box full of stuff including the tune cost me $350 shipped, $43 of that was shipping. That guy in Knoxville is great to work with.
 
Got some spider gears from @campfire for a great price.

The P.O. welded the spiders together in the 14 bolt that I traded him so I'll toss these in there until I get my hands on a traction device.

Is it too late to not trade your 4.56 gears for 3.73 gears???

Yep, too late. Made the trade last weekend.

I'm fine with rocking the 3.73's, I might regear to 4.10 at some point if I can find a good deal on good used r&p sets for the 60 and 14ff.

His axles were in better condition than mine and I'm happy with the trade.
 
Then this happened...

I sprayed it down with this high speed WD-40 extreme gel stuff to keep the rust at bay until I get the shackle flip, B52's and shackle hangers, they'll all go to powder coat once I have everything.

It's loosely assembled and secured to the frane rails, I need to drill 1 hole on the bottom of the driver side frame rail and pick up some hardware.

Looks kinda cool though.

Maybe one of these days I'll set the engine in there just so I can take pics of it and think that I'm cool.

I'm leaning towards the Novak hydro retrofit stuff for the hydro clutch, that and a Wilwood clutch pedal. Gonna have to go to the junkyard and pull a brake pedal assembly out of an automatic truck.

I was looking at that adjustable ball pivot that Novak sells too.

Still trying to gather info on the flywheel and spacing, the 6.0 had two different styles over the years and I'm still looking for a solid answer on what the hell I need to buy to make this work as well as a factory setup.

True, at this point most of the stuff I'm gonna need to get is either new or some aftermarket junk.

I'm gonna start looking for a used 14FF locker, maybe some used D60 and 14FF 4.10 R&P's from someone that regeared, spare 14FF shafts.

I'm looking for some 3/4 ton calipers at the moment.
