Four mountain passes later, and we’re in Grand Junction, but not before stopping to visit some friends.

I know there are LOTS of striped rocks out there, but it reminds me of a particular spot over by Escalante Canyon. And you are in that area...
That’s somewhere near mile marker 82 on CO141, probably close to where you’re thinking.

I don't have a picture of that turnout, but we stopped at several spots along that stretch, to look down at the river and the hanging flume. It's a small world, eh?

Yes it's west of Escalante, between Naturita and Gateway.
Bummed I missed the last IG live yesterday. Got on just as it dropped out. Stupid work getting in the way.

Yes. She’s all tarted up.
Freshly bathed. The green jeep is procharged, while the white one has a 58mm turbo. We turned a few wrenches on the latter because a charge pipe didn’t line up right and was going to let go at some point.

We built out 40s by committee for BleepinJeep.
Y’all should check out the IG stuff tomorrow. It’s the one day I won’t be the only square on the trail.

HELL YEAH! Bringing Watson in for backup is like bringing a Howitzer to a knife fight. I like your level of overkill.
Oh and checking out some of the IG feeds from last night was pretty cool. I'd say that Cherokee on the 40" Treps isn't going to make it off the trail today without breaking an axle shaft in one of the D44's.
