Four mountain passes later, and we’re in Grand Junction, but not before stopping to visit some friends.

That’s somewhere near mile marker 82 on CO141, probably close to where you’re thinking.

Where was this picture taken?

I know there are LOTS of striped rocks out there, but it reminds me of a particular spot over by Escalante Canyon. And you are in that area...

Yes. She’s all tarted up.So is the burb getting stickered up in all the sponsor livery today before the trail?
Also, yes. This is the calm before the storm
AKA drinking beer and telling lies
Well if you’re going to call for back up... you could do a lot worseYes. She’s all tarted up.
Freshly bathed. The green jeep is procharged, while the white one has a 58mm turbo. We turned a few wrenches on the latter because a charge pipe didn’t line up right and was going to let go at some point.

Y’all should check out the IG stuff tomorrow. It’s the one day I won’t be the only square on the trail.

Totally depends on the driver ....I'd say that Cherokee on the 40" Treps isn't going to make it off the trail today without breaking an axle shaft in one of the D44's.
When the driver says there will be no winching today, I'm betting on axle shafts breaking.Totally depends on the driver ....
