Operation Cheap Truggy-

you know I do have a narrowed and capped hood....:thinking: even comes with a pirate crossbones... for plundering all that 4x4 booty...

you know, so do I.... :D:doah:, it's on top of the cage, it's grey...:doah::D:p:

yea, for now, once I start adding to it and changing stuff i'll probably repaint the whole thing.

I hope you paint it a unique way , we all need our own signature color combination :thumb:

Well, in that case, since my bestiality secret is now in the open, I think I'll paint my buggy all cow. :p:

Gawd, I can't believe I just said that :haha::haha:

I got all of the brake lights and headlights wired up. And I cleaned up the wiring in the cab and got all the gauges working. Now I am gonna drive it to work tomorrow and flush the coolant again.

they bolted in in the same spot that Russ had them, but yea, they do seem a little low. we'll see how they are when I take it out.

I've refrained from commenting until now. I'm of mixed emotion on this. I'm glad to see it being put to use and I couldn't be happier to know that Jason got it. But, I was kinda glad it was going to CO where I would never see it again. There was a lot of blood, sweat and tears (at the end) in that rig. I'm getting older and have had hobbies/interests come and go many times over the years. But letting that truggy go was one of the hardest, and still feels like I messed up (even though every rational consideration says otherwise). <sigh> But in any case, it does make me happy to see someone is going to use and enjoy it rather than going to the scrapper. Thanks for keeping me in th loop Jason!:waytogo:

On the seats, those do look lower than mine were, but maybe that's just the pics. I will say that I often thought mine were too low, but it wasn't a big deal. And when it winds up on it's lid, you'll be glad for some head space. That's the original reason I mounted them "as low as I could". I figured it's a lot easier to space them up than to have to modify everything to get them lower. I often thought about adding an inch or more to the mounts, but with your height, they may be just fine. I think you are right to try it first...

Well, Got 56's installed front and rear, homemade Echobit style flip, made by Maxpf, and me, Need to get the rear shocks mounted, working on getting a roof installed, so that the AZ sun doesn't fry my brain anymore than it already has.
