Pics of my Dana 60 14BFF Install

Just getting so damn close! Any idea on when you think you will have it on the road?

I'm plumbing today. The last hurdle is sorting out the wiring system from efi to carb and installing my independent ECM for the tranny. I have no idea what i am in for yet on that. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel though!

Is the radiator using Spal fans too? Any reason you went with those say over a Windstar or Taurus fan setup?

Now that's saying something.

It is thier 1000hp "module". It came with everything......Fans, tank, included prewired harnesses and waterproof relays. I had it built for this truck. It took about 6 weeks to get it and it was almost $2K. And that wasn't retail. It dropped right into the stock mounts. I did have to order the big block top cover for $26 from LMC truck that will be here next week to finish it off.

Thanks Brotha! Glad to be back and making a little headway!

Here is a pic of the prewired harness for the fans with the waterproof relays. Its color coded and set up for when you turn the AC on, one fan automatically kicks on even if the temp sensor hasnt turned them both on so that you have good cold AC.

Man i always love your updates! Plumbing looks fantastic and the fan relay setup is cool with A/C mode!

You sir, have a sickness. I like it. You do great work and don't mess around.

I've been phukked up over 40 years. I was drawing trucks on my dads drafting table when I was 5 that had tires that would be about 7 feet tall if the drawings were to scale :D.

I just finished the engine oil cooler plumbing. I still have to put the heatshielding on the header side. I did some trick fitting work around the oil filter adapter if I do say so myself. I tried to get some pics but you really have to see it for it to make sense. Ive got a 180 degree fitting on the out and a 45 on the return to get it to jump over the frame and still have sufficient header clearance. The camera angle on a couple of pics makes it look like one header tube is touching....but I have almost a 1/2" of clearance. It still needs heatshielding though.

I had to make a change. My lines were hitting the shifter rod when I went through the shift range. I rerouted the lines behind the shifter rod. Shifter works good with no interference now.

This is about the cleansest home engine swap I've ever seen. I'd like to see this 'Burb in person one day after it's finished.:bow:
