I am moving some toys around today and I hooked the burb to this trailer and pulled it to town. Eventhough its empty, it still weights 4,500#'s. You can't tell that its back there. This is where not having a drag race cam and a high stall converter pays off. U can use the truck for anything you want too.
Putting a whipple on it will tame the cam down even more at idle. I have a 3.3L set up for a single dominator but I am going to need more hood clearance. I can go EFI and fit it in there. The problem is that no one is going to trade with me for EFI to carb. I actually like the carb better on the single whipples. When you go to quads like I have in the boat, EFI is the way to go. You also have knock protection with EFI. On this set up, you can never load the motor like you can in a boat so I tune the carbed whipple setups very conservative so that it does not knock on the dyno. If it doesn't knock on the dyno, it never will in the truck unless you get bad gas.

EFI would just add another notch to the coolness factor of this thing which is already pretty over the top.

I hear what you are saying.....but I am getting ready to start my boating season before too long so I am am going to be switching hobbies and I can put that money toward some boat gas!

Its taken me all weekend just to wash my RV. Normally, that is about 4 hours for me. I cant complain though. At least I can do it. I came out of the gate running but it is now taking alot more work to just get a little better.
I finally got the 53 cleaned up and back inside where it belongs.
Don't over due it too soon. Get that rest you need and then get onto the boats. We almost went out today but the weatherman took a crap on us.
ya i can say that also dont over do it.
i am still learning to live with my neck having c6-c7 fuzed and less movement and also pain if i go to far like the old days.

RV looks real good.
Be glad you are able to still clean it even if it takes all day.
Just don't over do it, take care of that back so it will heal up completely,so you can enjoy all those cool toys you have.

Nitrous OR a whipple? How about both? 
A very small 75 or 100 hp shot may add significantly more than that with forced induction because it's like an intercooler as well with that cool N20.
Glad you are enjoying that thing, it looks awesome, that RV is the longest trailer RV I have ever seen.

I just pulled the boat out of the shop and to the ramp and back. It weighs about 17K. It's nice to have the torque of a 572

Tech, the back is coming really slow now. I was fast out of the gate....but it is very frustrating now. I havent put the new fuel system on the burb yet because I havent felt like it. I was going to wash the boat today, but after I got it out, I am just not up to it. Maybe I can do it in the morning. At my 3 mth ck up with my orthopedic surgeon, he just said "you know, you have had 3 major back surguries....you have a tremendous amount of scar tissue and it may take you up to a year to get to full benefit" I am better than I was before I had the surgury from a pain standpoint...but the weakness in my left foot is and leg is extremely frustrating because of my hobbies and love of labor. If I had to pay people to do the things I do, I wouldnt do any of it. Building it and understanding how it all works and being able to diagnose any issue is half the fun of having it for me. I work a 60+hour a week job and build my own toys and I qualified for full disability since 2005 (I am not on ANY form of disability). I couldnt pay for the gas and insurance this stuff burns on disabilty. I had rather hurt and work than sit in the house. I would go bonkers if I couldn't work.

Amazing.
It is amazing how you push thru it all to have what you. I do know what you mean about paying someone to do the stuff we do with or toys. Knowing it inside and out sure makes your injoy it so much more.

I appreciate it. However, I don't know why more people don't feel the same.way. I don't want or need the freaking govt or anyone else to take care of me. I have saved money and invested for just the kind of challenges I have been hit with. I would sell everything I own (ALL Toys) before I would take a check from the govt. We have created an entire generation of people who think that they have an entitlment for a certain lifestyle. If it is not given to them, they are a victim. I have never seen the country in such a mess where NO ONE is accountable for where they are in life. To hear them tell it, they are all victims of one thing or another. Ok, I am off my soapbox.
