Pulled the motor! Got it torn down. Should have to the machine shop monday or tuesday. It'll be gioing .030" over, new pistons, crank, bearings, cam, lifters, all new gaskets. Just having the heads checked for now. Hopefully they'll be good to go for the time being.

Got a t-case clocking ring and some zerorates from Stomis for my 56"/64" spring swap. Need to get me some beefy motor mounts/tranny mount. Pretty happy I'm not cheaping out on the motor this time. seems to be where all my problems start....

I plan to bring it home soon to get started on some more parts installs. get a pitman arm, tap and install 2wd box, with weld on and bolt on box braces. figure a way to possibly incorperate some mounts in to my bumper for the 56's. install pinion guard, rear disc... and the list goes on!

Got more goodies today! Zero rates and clocking ring from Stomis showed up. Thanks Vinnie!

Spring Ehh.

You and Me both need to set a deadline for a wheeling trip in spring sometime.

Without deadlines nothing would ever get done

Mark over off valley st. Is doing all the machining. I may need a swift kick in the a** if we're setting deadlines... But you're right prob the only way I'll get things done in a timely fashion.

Short block will be done by the end of next week then head work. In the meantime, bringing it home to start prepping for engine install, Autometer, MSD and remove suspension for 56/63 swap. Gotta be ready for BB12!

Im wanting to so bad. Lots a work ahead though. Probably gonna have to have a build party weekend on this thing..

Oh I will! Haha over the next couple months I'd like to get the low budget stuff done

I sure do! I've been puttin in lots of overtime and doing lots of side work the last couple months to make this build and trip happen

Thanks man! I'm excited, plan on hitting the labor aspect hard as soon as I get back from the east coast trip.
