Yeah that's the problem with all these guys putting a Taiwan wind whistle on a junkyard LS. They use corn juice to make them live. And in reality not everybody has any access to e85. Or even easy access. Honestly, I doubt I would ever use it.

Idk if that’s the same video my boss and coworker always talk about but there’s one where they boosted a 4.8 with a stock bottom end and made somewhere around 1000hp. I can’t remember how many dyno pulls they did but it was pretty crazy. Definitely got me considering jumping on the LS bandwagon.

I bet that’s the one. I guess a lifter collapsed and then they couldn’t get it to run quite right after that. They never could get the bottom end to let go though!

I have thoughts about things like this from time to time! I’ve done so good with this one so far though. The only mod I’ve done is the air cleaner lid flip. lol mostly because I haven’t been able to free up any extra cash, but I’m sure something will happen eventually. We have a baby LS down in the yard that has been tempting me.
