Project 82 TCBF -10.13.9 - progress!!!

hahahha, goin out in a bit to work on it...

my buddy just picked up a blazer so we were at his place workin on it...his hub was junk, must have blown a bearing, then part of the hub like welded itself to the shaft. We ended up having to sawzall the end of the shaft off, which we didn`t think was possible:crazy:

Suprisingly, not long, with a worn blade to boot..Took maybe as long as it did to cut one of the b pillars off the roof of the blazer....

yeah, it makes you wonder...that you can lopp them things off with a freakin' sawzall!

The "Mud Bog Boogie" at the Cheshire Fairgrounds (Swanzey, NH) is on August 24th...

I expect to see both of you there!! :waytogo:

Ben,

I'm curious. Is your cab/tub complete with doors, tailgate and roof? How many guys do you think it will take?

I'm about to re-install the body on my frame with a buddy and four hydraulic jacks.

Alright guys, here`s a little update for ya.

Also not pictured is a new flexplate due to the original one missing a few teeth.
New HD low stall converter put in

tranny/tcase dropped in, also pictured is the compressor I bought myself

Last but not least, got my new gas tank in

It`s funny what all my neighbors say. When I put the motor in the second time, and dropped the tranny/tcase in, I was working alone, and they all wanted to make sure I was not getting hurt with no help. When the older folks that walk around the neighborhood see me out there, they always say "well, I watched it come apart, now I guess I`ll watch it go back together!" I guess I`m glad they don`t just walk by and mumble "innercity redneck" hahaha
Enjoy!

Thanks guys

Ryan, got it, and I`m actually buying TruckNutzDude x member he made :wink1:
