looking good! glad you got a good deal on the camera. the news is talking about how circuit city raised all of the prices then marked them down. they showed how a tv there marked down 30% was $500 more than best buy

Looking for ideas. I planned on doing something similar to what Brett (sweetk30) did, but it doesn't look like that's going to work too well.

For those of you running these style seats in a pickup, how did you mount it?

Any suggestions?

For those of you that have seen the other thread about aftermarket seats and mounts, check this out.

The only difference I see, would that it would be maybe 2" higher. What If I were to just stick some angle ontop of the square tube...just like he did:

I think this'll work, as long as it doesn't make it a PITA for me to get in the truck. The stock wheel is going in favor of a smaller Grant wheel, so that will help too. It will also allow me to keep the slider mechanism in-tact for easy access to stuff behind the seats... Going to need Kert to get the steps done for the trazer boys soon

Well, after a day of collecting about four truck loads of firewood yesterday, then spending the rest of the day in NH, I'm ready to get started on this day. Any bets on if I'll get anything done today?

This will be one of the first times I use the carport in inclement weather, so it should make me want to work even more

Tell me about the seats... I know your a big guy like me. I need something better than stock. Do they come in gray(My interior color)?

Also, where did you get that t-case shifter boot(saw it in another thread)? Looks very nice..

The seats were custom order from PRP, so I'm sure they have something to suit your needs.

I've honestly never been in an autozone I'd love to ditch the fugly looking stock shifter boot on my 241..

Well, looks like I forgot to update this. Not too too much to add, but any progress is good progress.

After about an hour of digging through schematics, I got the column all figured out. Because I cut the direction switch, I made it a nightmare for myself to track down on the wires that needed to be hooked up.

With that sorted out, I became to realize what a PITA! it was going to be plug the ignition plugs in. Ever after I dropped the column, I could still only move it down a couple of inches After a couple minutes of figuring out which plug goes where, I finally got that settled, and bolted the column back up.

The other miscelaneuous things I got done were wrap the rear sections wires in loom and run that down the frame rail. I FINALLY finished the whole tranny line ordeal. Just basically had to mount them to the frame, and tighten it all up. Also got the upper radiator hose cut and on, and picked up the lower hose on the way to work.

I started messing with all the headlight/marker/parking light wiring, and decided I'd see if I could just get new connectors. Head to the local place, they have some universal ones, test fit them on new beams, they fit, grabbed those and two new beams for the heck of it.

Gotta love the "birds nest" they fit in there. Sounds like you're a patient man. Sounds like you're getting there though. Keep up the good work. Keeping an eye on your LP conversion too. Don't know if that's in my plans, but soounds kinda cool! Looking forward to seeing it run, function, and wheel!
