aren't tires supposed to hold the truck up?

at least you know what size you are building around now.:D
Well this weekend I went to the Englishtown Swap meet with Chas. I picked up these tires for $80, and the rims for $55.:D Now both my blazers will be running Turbines! They are not home right now, since this cool dude said he was going to groove them for me! So I have to get my butt in gear, and get it lifted, axels swapped, and etc. this week.

damn ur lucky! wish i cld have went and gotten those rims! they are exactly what i gave away a while ago!

looks good. cant wait to see it done. im a build thread junkie since i cant be at home to do my own right now.

Today I welded up the rear flips (I got them tacked), and they should be powdercoated tomorrow. I also removed the gas tank, rear brake lines, And jack the rear up so I can remove the axel tomorrow. I had to work late so that is all I got done.:(

dig the rims. I'll prolly get some of those for my tow rig someday. $55 was a good deal!

Today I removed the rear axel, rear bumper, shackle mounts, and E-brake mounts. I pulled the overload springs off all 4 packs so I can cut them down at work tomorow. I also am going to bring a shackle to work so I can made some longer ones. The rear flips were powdercoated today and brought home. I still have to made the twin stick shifter, so I'm going to bring that also to work, and hope to have it done by the end of the week. The last pic is the dash, I've been doing some work to it alittle at a time.

Chas I just want to thank you for all the help so far.

Well tomorrow if it's nice I have to get back to that horse barn. So that will take a day away from Road Kill, but give me some time to made parts.

Today I got the flips on, and the new shackles. I started on the twin stick shifter also. The pics are with the weight of the truck on the axel. I have to get the u-bolts made tomorrow, then I can put some tires on.

Supposed to be nice this weekend. You should be able to get alot done. You're making quick work of that Blazer. Keep it up!

not only are you repeating yourself you forgot the pics.:doah: either get some sleep or post some pics. I got 2 of your tires done. I'm impatient and broke a few blades. It takes forever to get the entire groover hot.

Lookin' good, man! You really are making quick work of it!! Looking forward to seeing it in person in a couple weeks!:D

thats better. you are making really good progress. I think I spent more time messing with your tires then I did working on my own truck today.

About the same, but this is better.

Today I got new U bolts made. But they bent it too small a Dia.!!! So I got 1/2" ones for now, and got it together. I'm going to get new 5/8" ones to replace the ones they messed up, and put them on. So I got tires on it, and jacked up the front so I can start workinh on that ASAP! It Already sits higher that the Skyyk5! :D :D I'm liking this.

looking good.. sorry abt them u bolts! truck start yet?
Not yet, I didn't get the cap and wires yet. I want to have it running before I go to the rock and roll hall of fame again next week. But I have to get the tank back in also. First I want to get the front done.
