You should skip all these steps and just go straight to here, you know that's where this is headed.

You can thank me later for assisting in the final steps.
Do you remember how to work on these things? Glad to see you getting back in the Game.

Haha, not that far... but if I did, I would start with a rusty K30, leave the bed in a field somewhere and go wheeling. You should skip all these steps and just go straight to here, you know that's where this is headed.

Very close to what I'm thinking! Right now it has 2-1/2" lift (what PO told me) with 33" tires.I say mild/medium wheeler that is still very road worthy. I say pull motor and give it a refresh (cam and a chip with some fresh heads or just head work). You already have overdrive and IMO a good tcase. Throw some 1 tons under it, 4" lift (can't tell how tall the current lift is on it) and some ~37" tires and call it good. Can still go in the woods and have some fun while running down the road just fine. Oh, and of course your body work/paint you want, and then spend whatever money you have left over for the project on misc stuff like making the interior nice, stuff like that. Would be a bitchin street/mild trail rig that will be dependable to get back and forth from work but turn heads....just my $0.02
Best looking year ever IMO...getting harder and harder to find nowadays in pretty good condition like that...especially in CO
Well, looks like it has some quality parts in it so far. Just some tweaking is all it looks like. Really good base IMO.![]()

Probably wasn't available then... the address on the ORD label is quite old. lolWeird that they bought the super shackles without the flip kit![]()
My Son and I are going to start peeling tomorrow.@CK5

Drivers side is solid, the passenger side has a small rust hole and I can see that the floor support right above it is rusted out.How are the torsion boxes?
