forgive mine. took the pic after it was rolled

This thread is inspiring. I think I am going to run to Wally World and return home to paint my truck. I've got plenty of before pics so we'll see how things turn out on the dark side.

that came out very nice...do you have a clear coat or something on it?

that has got to be the cleanest rattle can paint job i have ever seen, nice job. it doesn't even look like a cheap car paint job either. so i'm guessing you did a lot of prep and clear coat to make it look that good?????

I call it a good 10 footer, from about 10 feet away it looks great but when you get right up on it you can see some uneven spots and some spots were the paint has run. I took a lot of time to get it down to bare steel, including the interior which took twice as long as the body. Oh and lots of clear coat! I painted it in 04, and its still holding up pretty good for a rattle can job. :thumb:

That is still an awesome picture.

I read an article bout the tractor paint the other day so i checked into it. you can pick up gallons of that stuff for bout $25.00 per gallon. Thats got to be cheaper than rattle cans! they have all different colors too. just need to decide what color i wana do. i got a gallon of brite yellow down at the shop right now (got it for the snow plow) been tossing round the idea on painting it brite yellow & black. what you guys think? maybe the black flames over yellow? yellow flames over black?

Similar to a K5 shown earlier, but more black. And no I didnt copy it, my wife picked the colors and the pattern.

Bright yellow is cool... But IM a little partial as its the color of my newest project. :) I will be re-applying some yellow spray once she is done.

CB77, how did you do the stripes? Mine was supposed to have stripes, but got too much overspray to get the detail. It ended up being easier to do large blothes of color than smaller ones.
