Dogs not big enough to break anything.
I quit wearing work boots to keep my feet cooler. Not enough support on the work tennis style shoes. I think I broke the bone getting on the fork lift. Walked on it for a week before having an x-ray done. I thought I had stained something. Dr said to stay off of it for 2 weeks, then a walking boot. She said she can write a note for my boss. I told her that he is a jerk and does not care. And the other employees will call me a wimp. She raised an eyebrow. Then I leveled with her about what I do. It was quite funny.

If I don't wear my work boots out doing things in yard or shop, I can almost guarantee I will not be able to walk the next day.
Even sometimes enjoying the boat on the lake with flip flops, or deck shoes, the next day is rough.
I have a lift in my right boot to compensate for damage when ankle broken.

I switched from work boots to steel toed tennis shoes. Way more comfortable and still plenty of support.

Made transmission cooler mounts last night. Painted them.

I have been chasing a vibration in the truck since I bought it. It changed when I had the front tires put on the Dodge wheels. That was a tire that was not balanced correctly. Now it is back to what it was. Drive shaft was checked for true and balance., was good. I put the front wheels and tires from my DD truck on it. No change at all. 4 oz's of tire beads are going into each rear tire. No weights on the rear wheels right now.

After breaking it down, 8 saw cracking between the treads. Date code= 3110.:yikes:

The guy I bought the truck from, said he put new tires on all of the way around. Lying POS.

They look new.
I could believe him.
My brother put 4 new tires at a tire shop and came home.
I looked at the tires and they were 2 different pairs, so looked at date codes and one pair was 10 years old and the other was 12

No. He lied. The one with weights had old paint on the weights as well as the wheel.
Nice bead breaker
I can not believe I had never thought of that before.

Yeap old, tires. I might reuse lead weights but tire shops don't.

Of course you are in Tennessee, so all bets are off

Other than the tires, it can go now. Just doing small convenience stuff. Going through tool rolls. Organizing parts. We are supposed to get a couple of days of rain, so the boxes in the bed are getting new seals. You would think I was wheeling in the boonies with the way I am planning.

This falls under the "Retonkulous" name.

Last year I thought I was going to pass out due to the heat and sun. They do not allow pop up awnings unless you are at it the entire time. So I wanted to do something that can stay up if needed.

So I made this mount. It will come off during transport.

Closed position.
