That’s what ended up happening to my harness. The deeper I dug the more I found to replace. If I keep this truck, it’s getting a complete new harness.

Back to stainless hardware...it's the devil!!! I had ARP stainless engine mount bolts for my 57 Pontiac. Got the engine in, threw the bolts through the mounts and spun the nuts on finger tight. Had to lift the engine out to change the pan later, tried to spin the nuts off the stainless bolts...instantly got tight, then galled, seized and needed to be removed with a death wheel FFS. Lesson learned!!

18 Days left before I leave. If it is not running by Saturday, I am punting it down the road and taking one of the Corvettes.

2 wires under the dash still need connected. One I have to have the battery in to make sure it switches correctly. The only wires left are the main power from the battery and the runs to the fan. Have to get the front end back together first.

Mount the coil packs and make plug wires.

Power steering lines and cooler installed.

Mount fan and connect those wires.

Figure out radiator hoses.

Do not pay attention to the extra relay wires. Those are for future use. I have a fuse and relay panel under the dash that will get removed in the future.

The blue wire is the PWM wire for the fan.

Anyone want to take a guess on how many times I hit my head on these 2 brackets?
