Turned the key for the first time at 7pm.
Crank, crank, crank, crank for way too long but it was building oil pressure. So that was a win.
Finally fired for about 5 seconds, then back fired out the exhaust and quit.
Did this 4 more times.
Checked for leaks. Nothing yet.
Called Eileen out to crank it over. Sitting next to the engine is not on her enjoyment list.
I watched the fuel pressure gauge out front. 20 psi for the prime. She cranked and it didn't go up. So I started adjusting.
At 58 PSI, it fires right up and runs. Has a little surge to it. Not sure why.
PS pump had a bad leak now. I cranked down on the fitting at the pump and it quit. I bought a remote reservoir for the PS system. The fluid moves fast enough that it sprays out the vent. I will have to figure something else out there.
Radiator has a leak at the return tube. I think I can fix it.
Transmission spun the rear wheels on the jack stands.
