That looks cut, like there isn't a chamfer where it gets pressed into, or it wasn't fully in the groove....

No groove. Has a flair that it sits against, then the nut pulls the flange on the fitting to it. It was too small for that tube. It fit inside of the correct one. I think it stretched then finally broke when pressure was applied to the system.

If anyone on here is needing aftermarket parts of any kind, hit up @folkenheath before you buy. He may not have access to everything. But he has not turned me away yet.

I talked to him Thursday afternoon about a speed sender for my TH400. I was looking at the full electric unit at $250. He recommended another one that was $73. It was just delivered at 2pm today, Monday. He has been a huge help in building this thing. Even if some of the parts will not make it on before the Power Tour.

@folkenheath's prices are really good too.

Could not sleep. So at 4:15 I was out working on the truck.

Has a slight vibration from 40 to 50 MPH. I was thinking the drive shaft angles might be jacked up. frame at 0*, rear yoke at 94.2, front yoke at 84.4. I do believe that is within spec.
Rear U-joint was stiff in one direction. So I hope that takes care of it. Front u-joint is still good. I will buy replacements for both. Local Owrongly's has them in stock.

Now installing the long dip stick tube so I can check levels without a step ladder.

Do not get me started.
2 friends came over and helped me replace u-joints and put the drive shaft in. They left to deliver a car. Came back and I was running the speedo wire. Noticed that the transmission pan boots were leaking. Tightened all of them. Some were a full turn out. Checked the oil pan. Yep. Every bolt needed some twist. A few needed a lot.

We installed a new shell window in one of their trucks, because I have all of the tools.

Went to start Fugly, no bueno. No crank. Started diagnosing. Power failing between the switch and the starter. I did not need this. Better here than on the road, I guess.

Glad you had some help with the drive shaft, I remember them being heavy and awkward.

1 or 2 piece?
Neutral safety switch? Adjustment?
