Would you consider a ranger box in Fire Truck like you did on Blazer? Why or why not?

so I'll let you know how it does with the 4 speed and a tired 454Are you referencing the gears as L 1 2 3?
The Rockies are easy compared to Pennsylvania. Those western highways are cut smooth.
That said, I never got out of 2nd going uphill out there. Sometimes I was even in low on back country roads and trails where I should have been able to go 30 mph. Some of that is because my 6.2 has so much torque that I was afraid to open her up.
All that said, if I had a 4500 in my garage there is a good chance my truck would be in pieces.

Need a turbo for that altitude.

Wade said it was the longest drive up Pikes Peak he'd ever been on. Everytime I tried to get out of low I had to get back in it again.
More gears means more shifting in my mind. That also is what I consider a good thing. I want to shift into all the in between spaces lots more.
I drive stick in the city so shifting is always happening. I constantly shift.

I already had holes drilled in the brush guard where I mounted them. I did use a little strapping to set them back.
I want to keep the jump port. Then I can jump the trucks off each other if I get a cable.
I may put something else in the other hole. I'm missing my numbers and blackout light.
I need a new grille, trim, and headlight surrounds at some point. These ones are in much worse shape than they look. The grille only has two mounts left. It's held in by zip ties to keep it decent.
