Ryoken's 89 Crew Cab Tubebed build... aka Mutt....

yep h1 bulb . get them about anywere . even walmart has them .

some led conversions might do o.k. for the rotator position on these old bars but most might not look right . some guys i have read tried conversions and the light pattern didnt get out as good as old school bulb did .

and if you have WIG WAG lights / flashers then the switcher unit might not work from the almost no amp draw of the led also .

yeah it's got wig wags... i'm not concerned about converting it... halogen is fine by me... I like the blend i have going of oldschool and new...

Buy a $10-12 H1 bulb at your local parts store and see if it works. I bet that bulb you linked is just branded so they can charge more.

Looking good. I forget. How did the magnets work out in the draws? I think you did them but I don't remember how well the hold things?

thanks... not particularly great... flat items do ok... for a bottom layer with the cutout foam, I think it'll be helpful... but loose ratchets in one of the cubbies will move around currently... just doesn't seem to have much "ummph" ;)

I think unless it's a really strong magnet, they're susceptible to vibration. We've had customer with magnetic signs on cars that never took them and cleaned behind end up with the magnet "sanding" the paint under the mag sign. They just wiggle and vibrate enough to cause trouble.

I just figured it out.... this sh*t is just to stick to stuff, door signs, etc... prolly do a decent job of that... tho, this is adhesive backed... what a dumbass I am assuming I could get MAGNET like my dad had hanging in the garage in the 70's... it's just not "infused" with enough good stuff.... prolly need a hazmat license to get sumfin good... ;)

couple of the others kicking around...

my bud's low budget car, Z28 clone (worth about 40 g's).... dude's got coin, he's got an original under the knife, and a couple other killa muscle cars too...
