Hate to throw another wrench into the mix, but the blank GMC grill with the 2000+ or 2007+ bowtie or GMC logo looks AWESOME.

Someone on here has done it. Old GMC black grill with Chrome Bowtie...know you don't want chrome, but the newer style GMC logo might look awesome.

Here is the pic but I saw a crack, I will see if I can glue it clean otherwise I will tell you to keep looking.

yeah, I gotta refrain from buying grills/lights/etc till I get some other stuff done... maybe during the fall...

gotta spend another $500 or so on the 15th to get the last of the lift/x-over stuff, which has absolute priority at this point.... than tube.....
 
If its a factory grill the letters sit recessed into the G M C molding on the grill, the factory letters have a knurl on the back and have foil applied to them, thats how they look shiny, then adhesive to hold them onto the grille.

If you had factory letters just painting the top side of them would be enough, they are far enough down into the grill molding you can't see the very bottom at all.

I will go try to find my letters and take a pic of em, mine the foil backing had gotten something in it so half of the letter was shiny and the other half wasn't.

While I really don't like that movie the duck would be a truly awesome addition on your truck.

It would only add awesomeness!
 
ah, I can't get enough of the charger/challenger chase... one of the best movie scenes in 20 yrs imo and definitely a top 10 car chase...


the funny thing is, ya gotta figure the % of people who are gonna know wtf that duck is from anyway, is gonna be pretty low...

I'm just thinking of grandma at a light looking in the mirror and seeing that psychotic duck staring at her with bloodshot eyes... :haha:
 
yah good stuff in the movie for sure, I just can't stand the movie as a whole. I have watched certain parts of it several times. :D:D

If there is a bitchen car chase scene it a movie I will get it just to watch the car chase.
 
also, i think the duck in black, would look WAY better with the painted features as opposed to the chrome one pictured...

the mohawk put's it over the top :bow:

I gotta admit, i didnt care too much for the movie, but i did want to buy a nova after watching it. Also had a strange desire to pick up chicks in it and then kill them in fun ways... Neither of which i followed through with... :whistle:
 
I bought the Grindhouse and liked them both...enough to keep it on Blu-Ray...
 
I love Tarentino movies.... and my first car passion was early 70's Mopar sheetmetal...
