Ryoken's 89 Crew Cab Tubebed build... aka Mutt....

Didn't mean to hijack the thread. Sorry 'bout that.

Flat bed is looking good. I really like how the reflective tape changed the overall look and the mudflaps look all biz.

Dude, kennyw just got 255/85r16s on his ride. Looks like they fit but are close. Check it.

should work ok, not the perfect piece, but it'll get the job done for now...

I feel so bad, if I knew you wer doing a temp I have a dozen fill ends that I could have thrown in the truck, I am practicly tripping over them.:doah:

it was kind of a goofy thing.. I'm like, I'll just do a boat fill.. but than i remembered that wouldn't pass inspection... :doah: it needs to be a sealed vented auto cap... but i really couldn't find anything listed as universal, like you might buy for a service bed or something... only vehicle specifac stuff...

that ones dimension looked ok, so i went for it... something that length or shorter and perfectly straight would have been good... the older jeep ones where possibilities too...

you'd laugh.. i'm just gonna do the ds tank.... guess i should take a test light and see which tank is feeding her... :haha:

maybe i'll get it down to the one tank next weekend, and hack all that extra hose/valving out of there...

thanks... I'm planning on registering it and plating it thurs, so i should be driving it over the weekend... still gotta give it a shakedown run and get the next list of "things to do" going... :haha:

I wanna say it was the driver side that worked best, but if you have a fuel pressure tester, I'd use that to make sure you have the good one running.

title in hand... :pimp:

paperwork filled out, it's insured, hopefully getting tags at lunch tomorrow....

gotta see about ordering tires.. it's gonna take Pep Boys a couple days to get the 255 KM2's in... not sure if I can swing 6 in 1 shot, may have to do 4 now, and 2 in 2 weeks...

I'd love to get some sandblasting in and start ripping some of the rims this weekend before I mount new tires, we'll see... maybe I'll do the 4 painted rims I have.. they'll go quick... little zinc, satin black... stripping the 4 chrome ones, not quite as fast...

that'd really make a big change to the rig, the 255 KM2's blackwalled on clean satin black rims... should look fairly tough....

You said you called on the 255s?

I wanted them for the trooper. They told me they were indefinitely on back order with no date in sight so I went with the standard 33x11 metric size. I really wanted that size too! On a light truck they measure out to like 33.5x10.

no, i have not talked to them... just going off what the website says... i saw a set in delaware on tire rack, so i'm thinking they are available..... gonna just see about having pep boys eat any shipping on em, they are a dizzy afterall... just order em biatch..

Yeah sorry for the delay, CA DMV sucks.
WHat is really wierd too is that I recieved it on 5/12/12, but the title says 5/13/12 so when they mailed it it wasn't even valid?:dunno:
By the way I :whistle:paid $300 for the truck here in CA
So let me know what you will put for purchase price, don't go to much off that price, either below or above.:D
I haven't mailed the paperwork here so once you tell me your price I will mail it in.
