Most excellent work!

it needs to be a sealed vented auto cap... but i really couldn't find anything listed as universal, like you might buy for a service bed or something... only vehicle specifac stuff...

I wanna say it was the driver side that worked best, but if you have a fuel pressure tester, I'd use that to make sure you have the good one running.it was kind of a goofy thing.. I'm like, I'll just do a boat fill.. but than i remembered that wouldn't pass inspection...it needs to be a sealed vented auto cap... but i really couldn't find anything listed as universal, like you might buy for a service bed or something... only vehicle specifac stuff...
that ones dimension looked ok, so i went for it... something that length or shorter and perfectly straight would have been good... the older jeep ones where possibilities too...
you'd laugh.. i'm just gonna do the ds tank.... guess i should take a test light and see which tank is feeding her...![]()
maybe i'll get it down to the one tank next weekend, and hack all that extra hose/valving out of there...

paid $300 for the truck here in CA

title in hand...![]()
paperwork filled out, it's insured, hopefully getting tags at lunch tomorrow....
gotta see about ordering tires.. it's gonna take Pep Boys a couple days to get the 255 KM2's in... not sure if I can swing 6 in 1 shot, may have to do 4 now, and 2 in 2 weeks...
I'd love to get some sandblasting in and start ripping some of the rims this weekend before I mount new tires, we'll see... maybe I'll do the 4 painted rims I have.. they'll go quick... little zinc, satin black... stripping the 4 chrome ones, not quite as fast...
that'd really make a big change to the rig, the 255 KM2's blackwalled on clean satin black rims... should look fairly tough....
CA DMV sucks.
