they ain't no 37's, but they're a solid 3" bigger diameter than the worn out 235's that where on there... they make the truck look WAY stouter than before...

about a 1/2" or so between the backs.. I think it's fine for cruising around.. once the tube bed with fifth wheel is done and I'm gonna tow, I'll do something of a spacer...

looks real good Paul, what size are those KM2's?

those tires measure .5 narrower section width than the 265-75's I got.
I may need a spacer right away then.

they are pretty tight.. it may actually be more like 3/8's.. i didn't actually measure, but i'll try to do that this weekend..

I wonder how much it will matter, my Welds are 6.5" rims, the specs on my tires were taken on a 7.5" rim.

I'm guessing, that may make it worse... bulge more, right?

unless I'm being dyslexic again... :doah:

thanks guys, it's getting there.. having fun driving it... the guy who did my tires, and will do the inspection, loves it... :haha:

I'll do an upcoming mods/things to do list when i get a chance...

It will pull the bead in a little more, so the bulge will be less, even if only a little...I guess I'll just have to wait and see when I get that far.

I love a good task list!

.

I like them...I was a bit skeptical when you said you were going black with the wheels but it really looks good. Are you going to keep the mirrors?
I am going to the mid sized ones...if you keep them, have you ever painted mirror brackets black...I think they would look good black on that rig....

yeah, i had the mirrors on the K5 black... tho, they where the ss ones, just douched in satin, without zinc, so they had a tendency to peel here and there...

I'm definitely ditching the fullsize trailer mirrors... i shouldn't need em with the design i have for the tube bed... I actually have a set of midsize ones from my 77 up in the attic...

but i bought a pair of super clean doors with standard mirrors, like on the K5 above from mudboggin that I'm gonna run and see how those mirrors work out.. hopefully i'll hook up with him this weekend to pick em up....

that'll begin the repaint of this rig..... i'll strip, prime and trim out those doors, and the clean ps fender Ice sent with the rig.. than install em..

I have a gal of 2K kicking around, but I'd like to pick up a gal of the new red/orange so i have it for trimming out parts...

Are you still doing Imron for the black places when you paint it?

probably for the tube bed..

right now I've just been douching stuff with the satin rusto and duck blind paint...

But you aren't going to take that off in order to put Imron back on it?

Just curious because I am still debating what to use for my frame and firewall black areas...Imron was on top of the list...but it's sooooo expensive..
