I was going to ask if you are going to put a matching box on the other side then realized you still have the factory fuel tank on the other side. Where exactly are you planning to put the new fuel tank.
I am always amazed at your skill in fabrication and craftsmanship. The bed looks awesome.

the brain pic is finally turning into reality, and I'm liking it...

workin on it..

which as everyone knows, is WAY ahead of schedule...
May not be worth the effort, but just a thought.
I does look rather good though.

Are you going to try to seal that lower box? You know like a bead of silicone along the seams and/or a gasket on the door?
Ah okay, good dealas with the rest of the fixed alum panels, they will get a dress bead on the exterior of black silicone... but the boxes will also get beads on the interior corners too..
all the doors, lower and upper, are set up to have a thin, soft weatherstrip on the door stop/lip to seal the doors... I'm waiting on installing all that till all the doors have been fabbed/finished...

After all that brutal direct sunlight, that rubber mat STILL hasn't laid down flat![]()

I think the whole thing looks great how that you've got the panels on it! I showed my machinist/welder friend and he was in love with it.
As far as the cab lights I got one from Napa awhile back that came with a new seal, bulb, and lens for around $8. I'll see if I can find a part number.
still freaks me out......

Just out of curiosity, what does a typical square body chevy looks like in Jersey.caught a couple guys taking pics of it in the supermarket parking lot this morn... still freaks me out......
