When I drove it last and into a pretty strong wind, I noticed my hood was moving quite a bit around the corners.
I realized I had not put the rear "pads" back on back at the firewall.

I put them on and when I tried to open the hood they got stuck in the holes in the hood and I could only get it barely halfway up...what am I doing wrong? I can't seem to adjust them anywhere where they don't get stuck in the hood.

thanks...I just wish we had some mountains here....it is relatively flat except for the apalachian foothills which would only be "toes" around here....plus nothing is green yet except that winter rye that somebody planted in that field....the landscape is ugly here right now...

By the way, that white patch to the front of the Blazer is cotton...that's a cotton field

I drove all the old gas out of it and searched online for a pure gas station...I had to drive further out to get gas at a Chevron that sell no ethanol pure gasoline.

Not really. To be honest, I often think the object of HDR is too be too saturated....

I searched the threads and could have sworn I had a conversation with somebody before I bought it...and they gave me a link to the guys website who does them...he was sort of famous for his carburetors...and guaranteed me it would purr after just slapping it on....he was right...just can't remember his name

So...whats the best way to get paint out of the windshield wiper post grooves....somebody didn't tape them up before paint

I tried to use a battery post cleaner but it doesn't get enough grip on the paint
