She was extremely offended by the actual water. I tried dropping her in it at low tide after hiking over the seaweed and she was kinda ok until the waves rolled in, when she was like, "wtf".... then a rough patch splashed water on her face and she looked at me like it was my fault and beat it out of the water as fast as she could. She almost tore my shoulder out of socket she's very dainty.

As for getting out and exploring, I can't count Galveston really because I've been there so many times. I've got a vacation coming up for my bday, I'll be in New Braunfels and, if I'm really lucky I might get a day or 2 in Big Bend. Never spent any time in New Braunfels and haven't been to Big Bend in more than 10 years.

We got her to put her front paws in but she was creeped out after a bit and went back to sniffing the beach.

These are not really hikey or campy, nut they are from my latest adventure. If you're my friend on facebook, really no need to look because I've already posted them there.... :-)

I've been in San Antonio for the last 5 days. One of them was spent in Cuero, TX, which is about 2 hrs southeast of SA, where I wandered this old texas rancher downtown while my boyfriend supervised the concrete pour on his last project. Glad I went along for a ride, it was awesome. ..
