The 2k mile 2019 is getting an icon dynamics stage 2. Control arms, coilovers, shocks and rear blocks. Will only be a 3 inch. Theres a 2 inch level now, it will be a 3 inch up front and 1.5 on the rear.

Let us know how it rides compared to stock :waytogo:

..And it rides no better than stock. Just firmed up, not bouncy like stock tho. Plus the rear doesnt skip the bumps like b4. These trucks dont ride super smooth and squishy like the previous generation tho in stock form. It handles like a racecar tho, that's a big difference. Where the roads here in pa are rough and choppy it soaks it up.

It needed 1/4 wheel spacers up front. I have just enough clearance for the uca's. It was too close for me.

It's getting today tho a kit from ami to remove the tow hooks for d rings. I'll have a pic later after fed ex drops them off.

Brackets are from ami, directions just are unbolt, bolt new ones on and done... lol... well no not even close. I pulled the 1st one off, had to trim the foam, trim the plastic and drill a thru hole. Go and get a 1/2 inch bolt for the other hole and then its done. D-rings are noisy, I ordered a set of rubber insulators and washers. Should be good after that.

I really dig those brackets I didn't know they were a thing. Do you know if they have them for a GMT900?

On the ami styling site i dont see this style which are 80.00 for yours. I do see the style in the link which are 180.00. But these are less work and are said to fit really nice.

The style I put on my 19 i seen on a sema truck, they do sell aluminum real fancy looking d-rings for them. But I like the old school rings. They bang around tho on the bumper. I ordered the isolator kit last night.

Isolators for the d-rings came today, the hooks don't even move anymore....worked out perfect.

I changed the front end . I bought a grill and headlights from a wrecked rst. The headlights are full led with the drl. Th grill was color matched since it was gloss black and a black bowtie was added. Also a t-rex brushed aluminum billet grill was used. Gen5diy sells the harness to do this. It worked out perfectly.

The headlight swap had a slight problem, a few days after doing it the display started showing a bulb out. It needed a resistor added to both sides. Gen5diy took care of it and sent the resistors free and were easily added to the harness.

The gibson catback I put on looked horrible and I couldn't get it to not rattle or stop moving with it being so many pieces. Being rusty brown and real noticeable was on my nerves. I removed it yesterday and put the stock dual exhaust back on but with the muffler delete kit from magnaflow. This time tho the pipes welded in, its loud at cold start but mellows quickly and idles fairly quiet. On the road it sounds good without drone but if you rev it that's a different story. It's not clean sounding like it would with a muffler. Actually think I'll leave it this way, maybe in the future put in a borla muffler.....maybe not..lol

I thought I was going to leave the exhaust alone but no, I actually hated it more than the Gibson. So it was all removed and a borla s-type catback was put on. The borla kit from installation to fit was perfect, it went together in less than an hour and looks great. Start ups a little loud but the overall sound is great..!! So this kits 3 inch single then a y and 2 3/4 tailpipes to the stock tips.

I Installed a jlt catchcan to keep the intake clean since these motors are known for dirty intakes. Also added an airaid cold air tube with a green filter in the stock airbox. Lastly I did diode dynamics reverse and license plate bulbs, that makes everything led.

I guess this will be my last added feature for a bit, it should be real good after this. I bought a set of 20x9 trail boss replicas in gloss black. These have a +15 offset and stock is +28 so they will sit 1/2 inch more, right out at the fender lip and the mud flaps will still make it. They use factory center caps with the raised bottle. I'll use my sensors out of my stock wheels and just buy new valve stems. My 295 60 20 which is 34x11.50 should look great..! I hope..lol

It was a test that way, i like it too. I'm pretty sure the trailboss trucks come that way too tho. They have the same wheels in 18x8.5.
